    ’We’re a team’: First husband-wife pilots to fly the B-2 retire from the Air Force

    Lt. Col. John Avery and Lt. Col. Jennifer Avery were the first husband-wife pilot team to fly the B-2. Their two, 20-year-long careers culminated with the couple’s joint retirement ceremony on Sept. 7, 2018, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.
