Sidewinder returns home from 45-day deployment
Master Sgt. Scott Walker, 571st Air Force Band First Shirt, greets Sidewinder drummer Technical Sgt Kevin Maret and saxophonist Staff Sgt Toby Callaway as they arrive at Lambert Airport. Members of Sidewinder returned to Saint Louis Sept 3 from their 45-day deployment to Southwest Asia where they performed for numerous troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and throughout the region. Sidewinder is the rock element of the 571st Air Force Band "Air National Guard Band of the Central States" based at the 131st Bomb Wing, Missouri Air National Guard, Lambert-Saint Louis.
