Missouri F-15 Eagle crashes in Dent County, pilot ejects safely

A Missouri Air National Guard F-15C Eagle aircraft crashed around 10 a.m. today in Dent County near Salem, Missouri.

The pilot ejected safely from the aircraft and is undergoing a medical examination.

The plane is assigned to 131st Fighter Wing, an Air National Guard base in St. Louis.

An emergency response team is being assembled at this time. Additional details will be provided as soon as they are available.
