Air National Guard Referral Rewards Program a plus to Missouri Air Guard recruiting efforts.

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo -- The Air National Guard Referral Rewards Program at www.refer2ang.com is a voluntary recruitment referral program in which any Guardsman or retiree who successfully helps recruit a new member is rewarded with incentives.

Unlike previous programs, such as the monetary based G-RAP (guard recruiting assistance program), which excluded fulltime technicians and AGRs from participation, the Air National Guard Referral Rewards Program is inclusive and based on a multi-tiered incentive system.

"This is an outstanding program and signing up is easy. Go to www.refer2ang.com and follow the prompts. Takes about 5 minutes." said Master Sgt. Melissa Lakin, 131st Bomb Wing Recruiting Supervisor. "An informational packet and business cards are mailed directly to you to pass out to those you'd like to see be a part of the Missouri Air Guard.

"With program participation open to all members, and some great rewards, this can mean more recruits for our Wing and its tenant units."

The Air National Guard Referral Rewards Program, being multi-tiered, means the rewards get better as a current or retired member brings in more recruits:

First Tier (one recruit) - Choices include: Backpack, duffel bag, tool or executive leather kit customized with the Air National Guard logo.

Second Tier (two recruits) - Choices include: Custom fitness kit for men or women or a tailgate package.

Third Tier (three recruits) Choices include: Custom luggage or a stainless appliance kitchen set.

Fourth Tier (four recruits) Choices include: Custom grill and knife kitchen kit, golf kit that includes a golf bag, golf balls and a GPS for golf courses.

Fifth Tier (five recruits), Choices include: 3D, 40-inch Blue-Ray home theatre system or two different gaming kits that include a game system and 40-inch high-definition television.

"You as the members are our eyes and ears. Every member of the 131st and its tenants, whether full, part-time, or retired can help in our recruiting efforts." said Tech. Sgt. David Greenberg, 131st Bomb Wing Recruiting specialist..

"Assist us in finding the quality friends, family, and neighbors that are a great fit for our mission; people you would want to work side by side with. This new referral program can help get anyone started in helping us recruit new members."

Recruiting referrals or questions can be directed to the 131st Bomb Wing Recruiting Office at 660-687-7420 or DSN 975-7420.
