Chief Master Sgt. Adam M. Hufty is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 131st Bomb Wing, Missouri Air National Guard, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. The 131st Bomb Wing is a classic associate unit with the active duty 509th Bomb Wing and is equipped with the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. He is responsible to the 131st Bomb Wing Commander on all issues regarding the welfare, readiness, morale and proper utilization and progress of the wing’s enlisted personnel. He additionally serves as the functional manager for the wing’s group senior enlisted leaders and first sergeants, and advises the junior enlisted, senior enlisted, first sergeant, and chief’s council.
Chief Master Sgt. Hufty entered the Air Force in June 2005 as an Operations Intelligence Analyst, training at Goodfellow AFB, Texas. He served as an Operations Intelligence Analyst with the 509th Operations Support Squadron and 13th Bomb Squadron at Whiteman AFB. Transitioning to the Missouri Air National Guard in 2009, he became the 131st Bomb Wing Intel Superintendent, leading the intelligence team's transition from F-15 Eagle fighter jets to the B-2 mission and fostering exceptional Total Force Integration. He also led the Targets Intelligence Flight, served as Intel Mission Lead during Operation Odyssey Dawn, and integrated all aspects of B-2 intelligence. Chief Hufty later served as the 131st Operations Group First Sergeant, 131st Operations Support Flight Superintendent, and held leadership positions in multiple expeditionary bomb squadrons and operations groups, including the 322nd Expeditionary Operations Group tri-bomber deployment. He also served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for AFGSC Bomber Task Force 24-4. Prior to his current position, the chief master sergeant served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 131st Operations Group, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.
