Colonel Joshua Fogle

Col. Joshua Fogle is the Deputy Commander for the Missouri Air National Guard’s 131st Bomb Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. In this capacity, he is second in command of the National Guard's only B-2 Spirit stealth bomber wing providing combat-ready Airmen for both state and federal missions. He is additionally responsible for the Air National Guard's B-2 and T-38 Talon aircraft operations.

Col. Fogle received his commission in May 2002 through the United States Air Force Academy. He attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma, where he was assigned the F-15C Eagle fighter jet upon graduation in March 2004. After completing F-15C training, his first operational flying assignment was with the 493rd Fighter Squadron at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom.  Col. Fogle served in numerous F-15C flying positions as a mission commander, instructor pilot, and evaluator pilot. Col. Fogle joined the Missouri Air National Guard in July 2016 in the 157th Air Operations Group. He has deployed numerous times in support of operations Enduring Freedom, Freedom’s Sentinel, and Iraqi Freedom, as well as supporting United States Air Forces Central Command as the 609th Combined Air Operations Center’s Deputy Chief of Combat Plans.

Prior to his current position, the colonel served as the Commander, 157th Air Operations Group, 131st Bomb Wing, Missouri Air National Guard, Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station, St. Louis, Missouri.
